Timber Garage Door Treatment

Periodically treat all timber garage doors to preserve the life and the natural beauty of your door.

• Treat your door with a good oil product e.g. Omthi’s 4Wood Oil
• Doors should be treated 2 weeks after installation
• Treat doors again every three months of the first year
• Thereafter treat door annually.

If you are experiencing longer dry and or hot weather conditions than usual, it would be advisable to treat your door twice annually. The more you treat your door the longer it will last and the healthier it will look.

DO NOT VARNISH YOUR GARAGE DOOR!

Ensure you use an oil which can offer you the following for your garage door:

• Penetrating sealer that protects.
• Stabilizes and nourishes the wood.
• Should contain insecticide and fungicide to protect the timber against woodborer and fungi.
